## Solving Trade, Together

Proving the flexibility of TWIN technology, a growing number of consortia and use cases are adopting it. In this expanding ecosystem, all initiatives are immediately interoperable, fostering seamless collaboration across diverse stakeholders.By leveraging TWIN’s open-source digital infrastructure, participants across different industries and regions can collaborate effortlessly, creating a unified approach to addressing global trade challenges.

## Trade and Logistics Information Pipeline

Since 2020, TradeMark Africa and the IOTA Foundation have been deploying TWIN technology in East Africa through the Trade and Logistics Information Pipeline (TLIP). TLIP connects Kenyan exporters, logistics companies and government agencies to share crucial digital trade data. Through its integration with key government agencies in Kenya, TLIP enables traders to access essential trade documents directly from the source as soon as they are approved.

### TWIN in the UK

One of the TWIN use cases, TLIP, has been rigorously tested by UK government departments and border authorities as part of the Ecosystem of Trust trials under the government’s Border 2025 Strategy. Border agencies, logistics companies, and traders used TWIN to capture data across various trade flows, including goods such as coffee, tea, flowers, chicken, frozen fish, and canned food. These trials demonstrated TWIN’s ability to streamline border processes, ensure data security, and reduce trade inefficiencies.

### RESULD

The Responsible Supply Chains and Logistics Due Diligence (RESULD) consortium aims to digitize end-to-end fruit and vegetable supply chains between Kenya, the Netherlands, and the UK. By integrating TWIN, RESULD enables seamless collaboration between systems used by growers, exporters, importers, and logistics providers. It also establishes an end-to-end data pipeline that ensures traceability, accountability, and trust across the supply chain.
